QUESTION:  After I performed a clean installation (full, destructive install) of the Bogart V5 Operating System I notice I have a loss of some of the functions I had before... and I do not see the Media Manager button on the Main Menu.  What happened, and what can I do to retrieve these functions?

On the Bogart OS series of editors, beginning with Bogart V4.5 there was/is a change - you also have to activate the Silver Pack or Gold Pack to enjoy full access to all the functions that were previously included with the Bogart OS.  Among these features are Audio Scrub in Trim/Split, Group & Mark Menus in Edit Screen, and the Media Manager access. 

These new Gold & Silver Editions are similar to the Pro Pack some folks may remember from the Casablanca AVIO days (earlier colleagues will remember that as AVIO Pro).  To learn all the functions available Silver & Gold Editions for Bogart

This is easily activated, here's how:

1. Enter the System Settings Menu
   
2. Left click on the 'System' button in top left
   
3. Left click on 'Install Product' button
   
4. Scroll down product list and find 'Gold Edition' or 'Silver Edition'
   
5. Left click on 'Activate' and enter the 12-digit activation code
   
6. After you click OK and close the System Install menu - on the Main Menu under the 'Bogart SE' at top left corner it should list either 'Gold Edition' or 'Silver Edition' under.  You should also now have all the functions you expect
   

NOTE: If you perform an update (where you activate the Bogart V5 OS but don't delete your existing projects, etc) this will not be an issue - this is only if you perform a Clean Install.
