MSUS Advises Software Activation Cautions for Bogart OS Editors
In the MacroSystem US Newsletter received via Email on December 4th, 2010, the following caution was shared. I, for one, applaud this information. I believe this is the first time it has been so clearly advised that folks running the Bogart Operating System should ensure that the software they install on their Casablanca Next Gen Editor (S4000/PRO, S2000, S4100, S3000, S6000) should be certified for installation and compatible with that product.
I think the issue is that some customers who purchased their new S-series Casablanca editor in the Upgrade Program either are not aware or very clear on the fact that not all Casablanca software they had on their previous/older Casablanca editor is not ready/compatible with the newer Bogart OS models.
